A Heat-Only Home With No Central Air

Like a lot of older Park City homes, this one was built with heat only, so there was no central air. The new owner wanted to change that before next summer, and we were trusted to make it happen.

Five Steps to Central Air

  1. Pulled the old furnace out of a tight crawlspace.
  2. Installed a new Rheem 2-stage, variable-speed furnace.
  3. Added central AC with a new Rheem 4-ton outdoor unit and matched coil.
  4. Ran a new dedicated high-voltage circuit for the outdoor unit.
  5. Modified the existing ductwork for cooling airflow.

Own an Older Home Without AC?

Most homes with existing ductwork can add central air, and fall is the best time to do it.
